Questions we actually get

What does “free while in beta” actually mean?
The whole product, the whole team, no seat caps and no credit card. We are still polishing, and we would rather have your feedback than your money.
What happens when the beta ends?
Pro gets a price and teams already using RelayWork keep beta terms — grandfathered, not migrated onto whatever we charge next.
Is this overkill for a solo developer?
No — you get the half of the value teams talk about least: memory. An approved spec with code refs pinned to commits is the context your agent needs to resume work next week, and approving your own spec is just the moment you read what you asked for before something builds it. Bugs and chores skip the gates entirely.
Does RelayWork need access to my code?
It reads your repository through a GitHub app to link pull requests and render the lines a spec points at. It never writes to your code.
Can Claude approve a spec?
No. There is no approve tool on the MCP surface — not gated behind a permission, not present at all. Agents draft, submit and request review; people approve.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Documents are stored as markdown and every spec, task and approval is available through the API with a workspace token.
